What you can do on a webpage now, just those things that the webpage can do. What if, If you want to change your facebook in a way, which facebook is not providing yet. Or what if you want to remove all flash content or google adds from a website.
How will you feel if you want to add a functionality to a website(which you doesn't own) in minutes. And if it seems like making a browser is just like making a website.
This may be more interesting, you are writing a plugin/extension/... for Mozilla and it will run on all the browsers
Think every website is your own website. Dont just think, watch out this.
Really Jetpack may be the future platform of browser extension development.
